VisionAid Readit Scholar HD

The Readit Scholar HD is a lightweight, easy-to-carry camera that connects to any computer via a USB port.

Controlled by the Readit software, it is capable of acquiring any document (from near or far), converting it into enlarged text or reading it via speech synthesis. This means that letters, statements, books, novels, labels and more become accessible to blind and visually impaired people.

In addition, Readit Scholar HD also works as a video enlarger in HD at 60 fps, allowing you to enlarge what you write, notes, distant writings and more. The Readit Scholar HD camera can be rotated upwards and oriented in any direction (rotation at 340 °), to view a powerpoint presentation, the classroom blackboard or for personal care (mirror effect).
